Despite rumours surfacing that Arsenal had made late approaches for Alonso and Inler, the transfer deadline has now passed and Arsenal will be unable to make any further signings until January. It was another crazy deadline for the Premiership’s more cash-rich clubs, Man Utd finally got Berbatov, Spurs got Pavlyuchenko, Man City signed Robinho – Can you believe that one?
