Their is a report this morning that Zenit St Petersburg have finally accepted Arsenal’s improved £15 offer for Andrei Arshavin and Arsenal hope to complete the transfer of the 27 year old Russian winger within 48 hours.

Hull City 1 – 3 Arsenal, Match Report

Arsenal went into the late kick-off match at Hull knowing that their adversaries above them in the league had all been fortunate to record victories late in their games, and 3 points from the match was even more of a necessity for Arsenal to stay in the chase.

Arsenal 1 – Bolton 0 – Match report

Bendtner grabs winning goal against BoltonArsenal scratched out a 1-0 victory at home to Bolton on Saturday afternoon.

It was almost another frustating draw for the Gunners as Bolton defended doggedly without ever truly threatening the Arsenal goal.

Bolton 1 – 3 Arsenal – Match Report

Arsenal went to the top of the Premiership table this evening, sealing a 3-1 victory away at Bolton.

Going into the late kick-off match at the Reebok, Arsenal will have known that a victory would lead them to 1st position, after Liverpool were held to a draw at home to Stoke City, with Chelsea and Man Utd facing off tomorrow.

Burgenland XI 2-10 Arsenal

Aaron RamseyArsenal enjoyed a nice little run-out against a sub-sub-par Burgenland side in Austria yesterday evening. Ineptitude of the opposition aside, it was a good chance for the Gooners to get some confidence in-front of goal, Nicklas Bendtner getting 4 goals, Vela 3, Wilshere 2 and Theo Walcott knocking one in as well.
Still, 10 goals which lead Arsenal nicely into what perhaps will be the toughest test of the pre-season campaign so far, Wednesday’s match against Stuttgart. I’m actually going to be travelling to Stuttgart for the game so I hope we see at least a few first team players making an appearance.
